The Two Bit Circus
September 2018 - Micro-Amusement Parks in Los Angeles, CA and Dallas, TX


I joined Two Bit Circus in 2016 when their focus was on their traveling STEAM-Education carnival. One week after being hired, the company decided to build a permanent location in downtown Los Angeles - a high-tech circus "Micro-Amusement Park" as they called it - and I immediately became a Lead R&D Engineer for multiple attractions designated for opening day. I worked with creatives to help design attractions and build the software architecture for many others, and I reported directly to the company's CTO Eric Gradman.

We opened the park to the public in September of 2018, with all projects on-time and operational. Being a major part of a team to build a start-up theme park franchise from from the ground-up to the grand opening remains one of the most fascinating times in my professional career.
